Episode 64: We Agnostics and Freethinkers at the 2017 Florida State AA Convention

Glenn G. a co-founder of the Beaches Agnostics AA group in Jacksonville, Florida hosted a workshop at the Florida State AA convention held in Jacksonville from July 27-30, 2017. The speakers included Ashley, who attends meetings at Beaches Agnostics and myself. Ashley and I shared a little of our stories and then spoke of experiences as an agnostic and atheist in Alcoholics Anonymous.

The workshop was well attended with many in the audience unaware of secular AA meetings and relieved to know that they were not alone. I think this was an excellent way to educate people about secular AA meetings, and I would like to do something similar at my State AA Convention next year.

If you would rather read than listen, a transcript of the event is posted below. You can either read it in your browser or download the pdf file
