AA Beyond Belief has a secret Facebook group made up of AA members from around the world who appreciate a secular experience in Alcoholics Anonymous. The Facebook group is a nice way to connect with like-minded people and to share experience, strength, and hope as an agnostic, atheist or freethinker in AA—and to do so with complete acceptance and understanding. For many of us, this is our only connection with secular people in AA.
The group is also handy for discussing AA Beyond Belief in a totally private setting. Discuss the articles, podcasts and share your ideas, suggestions, praise, and complaints.
The group is secret, but not because we are trying to hide from anyone. It’s secret as a way to protect anonymity. When you belong to a secret Facebook group, nobody from outside the group will know that you are a member and nobody can see what you post in the group unless they are also in the group.
If you would like to join, please click on this link that will take you to the Facebook Page for Hap Destiny. You will need to send Hap a friend request and that way Hap can add you to the group. Hap’s profile is set up so that nobody will see his friend’s list. So, if you would like to join, please send Hap a friend request, and he will add you to the group.
