The Third Biennial Arizona Secular AA Conference to be Held on November 9th

The Third Biennial Arizona Secular AA Conference will be held at the 24th Street Conference Center in Phoenix, Arizona on November 9th, 2019. The registration fee is $25 and you can register at their registration page.  Information about the conference will be posted at the Arizona Secular AA Website as it becomes available. If you would like to volunteer to help at the conference, or if you have any ideas, you can email the conference organizers.

The conference began in 2015 and at the time was known as the Arizona We Agnostics and Freethinkers in AA Conference. Jerry F., a frequent contributor to this site, appeared on Episode 1 of the AA Beyond Belief Podcast to talk about the conference and its origins. The event turned out to be a great success and has been occurring every two years ever since.

In December of 2015, Joe C., author of Beyond Belief: Agnostic Musings for Twelve Step Life, spoke at the Second Biennial Arizona Secular AA Conference. That conference featured panels and workshops on subjects such as a secular interpretation of the 12 Steps, gaining acceptance within AA, secular sponsorship, and the role of connection in recovery. Dave H. wrote an article entitled The Second Biennial Arizona Secular AA Conference that was posted at AA Beyond Belief on March 8, 2018.

The audio recordings of the second conference are available at the AA Beyond Belief YouTube Channel
